Rainforest Habitat

Rainforests are forests that receive more than 60 inches of rain a year.  They are generally found in warmer areas of the world.  Most rainforests receive about 12 hours of darkness and 12 hours of light every day.  Like coral reefs, they are home to more animal and plant species than any other habitats.  These habitats are poorly explored and greatly endangered.
