Polar Bear

Polar Bears are tied with Brown Bears for the largest land carnivores on earth.  They prowl the Arctic in their constant search for food.  These bears are considered marine, or ocean animals because of their connection to the sea.  They hunt seals and other sea creatures and are expert swimmers – sometimes swimming over one hundred miles out to sea!

These great bears are one of the coolest mammals from one of the coolest places on earth.
